Kitara Institute is a private institution established in 1999 in response to a call for quality education with a wholistic perspective of learning.

Kitara Institute has grown to higher levels with a firm foundation of registration acquisition with the Ministry of Education, Sports, Science and Technology.

The Institute is fully Licenced, Registered and accredited by Uganda Vocational and Technical Assessment Board (UVTAB) with Examination centre number UBB018 and Directorate of Industrial Training (DIT) centre number UVQF228.
