About Our School
Based in the Albertine region in the Eastern side of that Great Rift Valley, Kitara Institute sprang up to serve Uganda and other neighbouring countries.
The dream became tangible in the year 1999, and since then, Kitara Institute had grown to higher levels with a "firm foundation" of Registration acquisition with Ministry of Education, games and sports
The Institute offers Diplomas and certificates for different courses at national levels which allow interested individuals to upgrade in their professions.
The Institute is fully licensed and registered with the Ministry of Education, Sports, Science and Technology license no. ME/VOC/29 and Registration No. ME/TVET/103
Kitara Institute of Commerce is also fully accredited by Uganda Business and Technical Examinations Board with Examination centre No. UBB018 and the Directorate of Industrial Training (DIT) with centre No. UVQF228
